citilights is a ministry of Redeemer Presbyterian Church that seeks to engage young adults (i.e., people in their twenties and thirties) in both the church and the greater community by connecting them to one another and to other Redeemer ministries, and by equipping them to serve the church and New York City. We are a "bridge-building" ministry in that we seek to connect people on multiple levels, to both Christians and non-Christians, and that we sponsor, point to and support existing Redeemer praise, prayer, mentorship, service, and social activities.
citilights is led by a group of young adults (the steering committee) and falls under the leadership of Redeemer. Our core values mirror those of Redeemer, but our ministry focuses on young adults. We are devoted to reaching young adults, whether old or new to New York, and plugging them into the church community.
